It was such fun painting this mural. Mural depicts Mother Earth cradling an oversize ladybug in a setting of flora and fauna. Truth be told, it was a sweltering Florida day!!!
Here I am with my agent Janet Verdeguer sorting art in my studio. What a joy to have my own art studio where I can teach, paint, and create ... and then share with others. Below is one of my earlier paintings in the style of Amedeo Modigliani, Italian painter and sculptor who worked mainly in France. He lived from 1884 to 1920. Do you like my "Modigliani?"
I was delighted and honored that my lily art was selected by Granny Apple Publishing to be on the cover of this lovely book of poetry.
It was agreed that my painting "The Agony and the Lily" represented this young girl, so very beautiful in her youth, but all too soon at the young age of 15 finding herself trapped in a body ravaged by MS.
"This hauntingly beautiful sweet sad poetry helped me put my own life in perspective and stop complaining," commented one reader.
Robyn’s poetry takes the reader inside the mind of a young MS sufferer like very few writings before or since. Incredibly sad, Robyn’s words resonate with those who are in their teen years or with anyone who remembers their own lonely journey from youth to adulthood.
These remarkable poems also include notes of love, joy and youthful exuberance. They will inspire those who may think they have problems or find themselves trapped by a life situation or an addiction. Through her writing, Robyn throws off the shackles of her affliction and touches the universe.

On April 26 I was honored with a reception in my honor to debut a new commission - four original oil paintings based on "The Wizard of Oz." You can see them (and order Giclee Canvas Prints if you like) on my Gallery Page. Everyone had a good time ... and I performed Tai Chi with my Tai Chi teacher Rich Cummings and my friend Janet. We performed to the song "The Impossible Dream." Guess I am always a dreamer ... and always will be.
